Pat I can’t describe the buzz there is at Debbie’s Dance School, my daughter started dancing with Debbie 4 years ago and within no time I had started the adult class too - we’re both loving being part of such an exciting and dynamic school. There are so many opportunities open to all the students, from the range of styles of dancing taught, to the professional examinations and the thrill of competing – there’s something for everyone. We've been made to feel part of a wonderful family, all the students are such a delight and always come out of class smiling. My daughter was very shy but both with the support of Debbie and the rest of the dancers she has gained so much confidence and can now dance solo's at competitions! The dance lessons are structured well and this really helps her for the exams and competitions. Debbie also supports some of her more mature adult dancers ( mums of the children!) We have learnt some great street moves, taken exams and have even won a medal or two at competitions! Jo Our youngest daughter has enjoyed dance tuition at the Debbie Bellinger School of Dance for about two years. Our eldest daughter recently joined and has found similar enjoyment there, making outstanding progress in Dance at her new secondary school. They are both now keen dancers and look forward to their weekly dance sessions and twice-yearly dance exams. Both our daughters have derived a great deal of satisfaction from dancing, and we are all immensely proud of their achievements. Debbie is a consummate professional, intuitively understands the children, and tutors them all consistently, skilfully, caringly and energetically to the highest standards. The award ceremonies always demonstrate the great and undeviating success of the dance school. There is typically a wide range of people receiving awards from the tiniest tots to the adults and it is clear that the awards, a high percentage with Honours, engender great self-esteem in those who are presented with them. The combination of regular session exercise, practice exercise and self esteem is powerful in helping our children and many like them to live more fully and happily. I really enjoy dance because firstly I take dancing seriously and want to take it up as a professional. Secondly there are two hours of a dances lessons and they are completely different. The first hour is to concentrate on medals and exams, and this is good to have on your C.V. The second hour is competition work and we work on dancing a solo, teams and pairs. Then we go out to compete and all the costumes and make up is really fun to do and great experience to do as hobby. My confidence as grown throughout from the age of 12 and now I’m 18. As a Mother, there is no other reward than a "happy child"... Well Done Debbie ! Ali My daughter has been dancing at Debbie's dance school for 9 years. She has danced in competitions as well as taking her medal tests. To date she has received over 100 trophies. Tracey I have been dancing with Debbie since I was 2 years old. I am now 9 years old and I have cried with laughter, joy and excitement with Debbie. I enjoy competing and being part of a team and have made lots of great new friends. Sophie 3 of my grandchildren attend dance classes with Debbie, they also take exams and compete for the dance school. They have all gained so much confidence and experience from these classes. Debbie has brought out the best in all 3 children. Sebastian was a very shy 6 year old, who is now a confident and outgoing 8 year old.
